About the role
Forestry England is a team dedicated to managing and enhancing forests for public enjoyment. As a Recreation Ranger you will ensure seamless day‑to‑day visitor operations, deliver excellent visitor experiences and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day‑to‑day visitor operations and ensure visitors have excellent experiences.
- Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for customers.
- Engage with local communities, cultivating meaningful relationships and developing recreational opportunities.
- Enhance volunteer involvement and answer visitor enquiries.
- Contribute to overall enrichment of the visitor experience, drive efficiencies and income generation opportunities, while strengthening community connections.
Working Location: Salcey Forest, Wootton Road, Hartwell, Northampton, NN7 2HX
