What You’ll Do…

As a Forest Centre Manager you will be responsible for the recreation operations. You will be managing the recreation team, overseeing health and safety compliance, managing the budget with a focus on increasing income generation, contract management and overseeing asset management. Working with internal and external stakeholders you will be enhancing and delivering an excellent visitor experience.

Where you’ll work…

This role will cover sites across Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. You will be based from our office at Fineshade, NN17 3BB. The duties of this post require the applicant to have a full current driving licence that enables them to drive in the UK. However, the Forestry Commission is willing to consider any proposals that would allow them to do the job by any other means. This role will require occasional weekend and public holiday working.

You will be asked to write a 200 word statement on your relevant experience and career history, along with a personal statement of no more than 500 words. You will be assessed on both during sifting.
