What you’ll do…
As the Mechanical Engineering Area Fleet Manager you will play a key role in the safety management of our maintenance provision and help to develop the high quality of service delivery required to support business units across Forestry England and wider agencies. You will hold overall responsibilities to ensure all Vehicle, Machinery and Equipment (VME) meet the required compliance and are maintained in accordance to manufacturer guidance and company policy utilising your team to achieve this.

Where you’ll work…
The role will be based at our offices at Santon Downham, Norfolk and you will be expected to work flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a wide range of specific administrative duties and work with colleagues who are based at different sites. To support this, some infrequent travel may be required. The area covered by Santon Downham office are the East, South and West forest districts and all business units with in these. Head office for Mechanical Engineering is based at Bellingham Northumberland.
