Forestry and Land Scotland is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Visitor Services Ranger to support the management of Scotland’s national forests and land. This role plays a key part in enhancing outdoor recreation, public access, and regional tourism, while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

About the role
As part of the Visitor Services Team, the successful candidate will engage with the public to promote responsible access in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, carry out practical site maintenance, and collaborate with stakeholders, communities, and colleagues. The role offers a varied and dynamic working environment, balancing visitor needs with wider land management priorities.

About you
To thrive in this role, candidates should have sound knowledge of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, experience in a visitor services or tourism setting, and strong communication and practical maintenance skills. Attention to detail and effective time management are also essential.
