Project Manager – FTA until May 2027 (Scottish Forestry)
Scottish Forestry is the Scottish Government agency responsible for forestry policy, support and regulations, grants and incentives, technical forestry advice and new cross‑border arrangements.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our PMO to support the delivery of a wide variety of change projects across the agency. (This role is maternity cover until May 2027.)
Key Responsibilities
The Programme Management Office (PMO) is responsible for delivering a transformation programme that includes system improvements, process redesign, management information and organisational change projects. The successful candidate will:
- Manage complex projects from initiation through to completion.
- Apply change management frameworks and best practices.
- Maintain budgets and provide accurate numerical reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex projects in a project manager role.
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks and approaches.
- Good numerical skills and experience with budget management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
