Environment Foresters assist the Environment Advisor in achieving the Region’s environmental objectives by collaborating with delivery, programming, and planning teams, providing guidance on habitat, species, and heritage management. The role will involve developing and implementing the environment programme, with a focus on key targets such as PAWS restoration and priority species management.

Additionally, you will support the Planning and Environment team, use surveys to help prioritize actions, and contribute to Work Plans and Land Management Plans.

To be successful in this role candidates will need experience in advising on and managing issues relating to UK & European protected species and habitats, native woodland survey, monitoring & management, scheduled monuments and other heritage assets.
