We are looking for an experienced Proposition and Product Manager, who wants to get involved in helping shape and execute Foresters proposition strategy to join us on a 9 month fixed term contract.
Your focus will be split between supporting new product and proposition development, together with in-cycle product management. Your day to day will include:
- Support/manage the identification and ideation of new proposition and product opportunities
- Support/manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from idea and prototyping to launch and market success
- Lead/support the orchestration of product reviews for Foresters, maintaining a structured process and timeline
- Ensuring all business requirements and timelines are considered to deliver effective product governance
- Recommend and embed product governance principles and practices within the business
- Identify special needs of vulnerable customers, recommending business practices to deliver good customer outcomes
- Collection and analysis of relevant management information of products and business practices
- Leverage data, customer insights, market research and regulations to inform business decision making and continuously improve our products
- Make evidence-based recommendations for propositions and product management, which could include potential mitigating actions
- Present conclusions and findings in an engaging and easily understandable way for stakeholders at the right level for respective audiences
- Work with our Compliance team in the identification and assessment of any risks that are identified
- Champion good customer outcomes and a customer-focused culture in the organisation
- Keep up to date with FCA regulations, guidance and any industry best practice and share that learning with the Foresters team
Working hours are 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. Start times can vary from 7.30am to 9.30am. After a successful training period there is flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week.
What we require:
- Strong familiarity and experience in Financial Services
- Successful track record of bringing propositions to market and their life-cycle management
- Previous product management
- Commercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within Financial Services
- Understanding and experience of Consumer Duty regulations
- Evidence of a customer-focused mindset with proven ability to balance customer experience with commercial objectives
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience of applying strategic thinking balanced with delivery
- Effective planning, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident interpreting and working with customer and business data
- Collaborative team player
What we offer you:
- Basic salary up to £65,000 per annum, pro rata for 9 months
- Annual holiday allowance of 28 days holiday plus
