We bridge the gap between affordability and sustainability, using advertising revenue to offer our users up to 30 free minutes per ride. About The Creative Team
We’re Forest’s in‑house creative team, & we’re fresh off the back of the in‑house campaign, £1 fish man (which generated 5 million organic views). We believe we’re creating some of the most engaging, emotional and witty output of all in‑house teams in London. We (pretty much) do everything in‑house, giving us full control over our creative output: from ideation and execution through to production and distribution. Every member of the Forest creative team has a voice in shaping what we make.
Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday off
Tuesday - Friday, 8 hours
Saturday - Sunday, 30‑minute check‑ins each day
This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract
A Bit About The Role
Forest is looking for a Social Intern to support the day‑to‑day running of our social channels. This role is focused on community engagement, trend awareness, and supporting content operations, helping the forest brand feel attentive while maintaining cultural relevance. You’ll work closely with Forest’s Creative team to help give the Forest brand a reactive voice across social. Your primary focus will be on keeping Forest’s social channels active, responsive, and engaged through day‑to‑day community management. As social never fully switches off, this role includes light‑touch weekend check‑ins to ensure we stay responsive: this does not mean full working days, but being able to dip in when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Community and Engagement
Reply to comments and DMs across platforms in Forest’s friendly and unique tone of voice.
Keep an eye on story mentions and repost the best ones.
Monitor tagged and untagged mentions of Forest.
Work closely with Support & Community teams to highlight customer feedback, recurring issues, and opportunities quickly.
Keep our social channels active, responsive, and genuinely human. - Social Support
Help to schedule and publish content across our channels.
Support the team in maintaining a consistent posting rhythm.
Spot interesting community conversations, trends or opportunities and feed back to the team. - Trend Spotting & Memes
Keep up with what’s trending on TikTok and Instagram.
Share new formats, sounds, and meme ideas with the team.
Create quick, reactive meme content when it makes sense. - Creator Support
Help build and maintain a list of relevant London‑based creators.
Support with creator outreach and gifting logistics.
Track creator mentions and features across social channels.
Who you are
Experience managing social accounts for a brand (can be for someone else or your own).
Genuinely into TikTok, Instagram, and social media. Bonus points if you’re chronically online.
Strong feel for tone of voice and how to communicate online.
You’re proactive and like to spot patterns, take initiative, and share ideas.
A creator with a sense of humour. Personality matters to our social strategy.
You’re comfortable hopping on a bike and enjoy riding.
Location
We love spending time in the office together, with 3 days a week in our office and 1 day a week working from home. If you require a more flexible working arrangement, please still apply! We’re happy to discuss it further with you at the interview stage.
