The scope

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of FSC's communications unit. You will own the full communications lifecycle - from strategic narratives and thought leadership to project management, events, and team operations - ensuring everything FSC says is coherent, compelling, and impactful.

What You'll Lead

  • Thought Leadership: Design and drive a comprehensive thought leadership strategy that positions FSC as a trusted authority in responsible forest management - and as a leading voice on biodiversity and climate solutions.
  • Event Communications: Amplify FSC's presence at major industry events through compelling storytelling and thought leadership that extends impact far beyond the room.
  • Communications Project Management: Own the end-to-end delivery of communications projects - from concept to completion - keeping timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment on track.
  • Strategic Narratives: Develop and oversee message alignment across all key channels - digital and web, the annual report, thought leadership content, and newsletters - ensuring one clear, consistent FSC voice.

Monitoring

Adobe Creative Cloud is a strong plus.

Languages

Exceptional English - impeccable fluency required (spoken and written). Spanish or French - a bonus.
