Sciences are taught separately from Year 7 at Forest, with each group taught by three specialist teachers. Year 9 follows a programme of study in preparation for their Science IGCSEs and in Year 10, pupils choose either Double Award Science or any two or all three, of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, following the Edexcel IGCSE course. All three sciences are popular subjects at A Level. The AQA specification is followed in Chemistry.
