Forest School Leader – West Kent (Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & Sevenoaks)
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, and Sevenoaks, Kent
Position: Forest School Leader
Contract: Flexible / Part‑Time
Salary: Competitive rates, dependent on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality Forest School sessions in school woodland and outdoor environments
- Plan engaging activities that support children's learning, wellbeing and development
- Carry out risk assessments and maintain a safe learning environment
- Promote exploration, independence and child‑led learning
- Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams
- Manage equipment and resources effectively
Requirements
- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience leading Forest School sessions with primary‑aged children
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in outdoor settings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, nurturing and reliable approach
