Founded in 1834, Forest is a group of schools educating over 1,500 pupils aged 4 to 18, set within 50 acres of grounds on the edge of Epping Forest in East London. With a strong academic track record, a vibrant co-curricular programme and a genuinely inclusive community, Forest combines the energy of busy London day schools with a campus of real character and space.
As Forest enters the next phase of its development, it is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join its Executive Team. This is a broad and senior leadership role, responsible for the operational, financial and commercial functions that underpin the School's continued success. The COO will work closely with the Warden and Governors to ensure Forest is well managed, financially resilient and positioned to make the most of its considerable assets, including a growing commercial lettings and events operation.
The successful candidate will bring strong strategic and operational experience, ideally gained in a complex, people-centred organisation, and will be comfortable leading across a wide range of functions in a values-driven environment.
