Qualifications & Experience

  • Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant trade skills training in a related field such as IoT, telecommunications or instrumentation.
  • CSCS/SSSTS card would be an advantage.
  • Ability to perform physical wiring checks against electrical schematics, panel and drawing modifications; provide technical support to other trades and electrical contractors, carrying out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.
  • Experience commissioning Power and Energy Management Systems with understanding of IT systems, networks, serial communications, Modbus or BACnet protocols.
  • Knowledge of Tridium BMS software is an advantage (not essential – training and certification will be provided).
  • Some exposure to control systems, telecommunications, automation or integrated systems.

The successful individual will be driven, technically confident and able to deliver exciting projects across multiple sectors (commercial offices, data centres, HV substations).

You will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team to deploy IoT systems in critical infrastructure buildings and facilities across the UK.
  • Providing support to customers and team members.
  • Travelling to customer sites across the UK; a UK driving licence is required.
