Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a 4* hotel, nestled in 190 acres of woodland just outside Scunthorpe. With 188 bedrooms, 9 meeting rooms within a purpose-built event centre, an award winning 27-hole championship golf course, health club and spa, a grill restaurant, a terrace to enjoy a cocktail or two, bars and also afternoon tea - a perfect getaway hotel for any occasion!

As the General Manager of this amazing property, you’ll have responsibility for all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, people management, financial performance, sales & revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.

A strong leader who has the ability to articulate a strong vision for the hotel, embedding the values, being able to narrate how we are doing and where we are heading, influence and move the whole team in one direction.

  • Previous experience operating a large M&E, Golf, Leisure & Spa, or multifaceted hotel.
  • Proven track record in developing, rolling out and operating successful concepts.
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.

  • Visibility within the property.
  • An ability to think for oneself whilst understanding the difference between autonomy and accountability.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge & understanding of all commercial and financial aspects of hotel operations.
  • Identify potential opportunities and challenges and devise strategies to deal effectively with both.
