FOREST OF GALTRES GOLF CLUB is offering an apprenticeship to become a Golf Greenkeeper (Level 2) with training provided by Myerscough College.
The role involves learning to operate ride-on mowing machinery, cutting fairways, tees and banks, raking bunkers, and using tools to keep the course neat and well-presented.
The program runs over 2 years, with hours Monday to Friday (40 hours/week), starting 6.00am in summer and later in winter, plus occasional weekend work.
