Applicants must have prior NHS administrative experience. We are seeking a reliable and organized Admin Assistant to join our Primary Care Network (PCN) team. In this role you will provide essential administrative support with a focus on managing referrals. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties of the job

  • Open and close the building, ensuring security and smooth operation.
  • Greet and assist arriving patients, providing a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Create and manage referrals via the Electronic Referral System (ERS).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clinical staff, facilitating communication and support.
  • Ensure clinic rooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the PCN.
