Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all guest rooms, common areas, and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and inviting. Your attention to detail and dedication will directly impact our guests\’ overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing supplies like toiletries and towels.
Public Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of hotel public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
Linen Handling: Change and replace bedding, towels, and other linens as required, following hotel procedures for laundry.
Restocking: Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, coffee, tea, and glassware.
Quality Checks: Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness, damages, or maintenance needs, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Guest Requests: Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or special needs in a timely and professional manner.
Safety and Sanitation: Follow all hotel safety protocols and ensure proper disposal of waste, including hazardous materials.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other housekeeping staff and hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Ability: Must be able to move clean and dirty laundry bags to and from the hotel, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for cleanliness and room presentation.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks during busy periods.
Communication Skills: Basic understanding of English is required to interact with team members and guests.
Customer Service Oriented: A friendly and positive attitude towards guests and fellow employees.

Schedule & Availability:

This is a part-time position requiring flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as needed – hours will depend on how busy the hotel is during the week.
