About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their culinary career, with the chance to learn from experienced chefs in a fast-paced and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills (ideal for those who are training in culinary school or early in their career) and learn within a fast-paced and busy kitchen within a well-established hotel brand that values creativity, teamwork, and culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior chefs in daily food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Prepare ingredients and basic dishes according to set recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
- Learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in food and a desire to build a career in the kitchen.
- Some kitchen experience preferred but not essential—training will be provided.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
