About the Role:
Forest Homecare is recruiting Community Care Assistants to work in Halstead, Essex. No experience is necessary as full paid training is provided. As a Care Assistant, you will need to have a professional, caring, and flexible approach.
Responsibilities:
- Helping our Service Users maintain their independence and dignity.
- Assisting our Service Users with all aspects of personal care such as dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Supporting with preparing and serving meals.
- Maintaining the service user's physical environment including laundry, changing, and making beds, tidying, and light cleaning duties.
- Providing care 365 days a year between the hours of 6 am to 11 pm and split this over 4 shifts (Morning, Lunch, Tea, and Bed).
Hours and Schedules:
We can offer you full or part-time hours including every other weekend or one day every weekend.
Requirements:
- Car owners – essential due to the Service Users location.
- Adaptable, with common sense and initiative (this role is varied and every day is different).
