The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
This is a full-time Care Manager office role, based in Sible Hedingham but will involve travelling to and overseeing the other offices in Sudbury and Chelmsford. The Care Manager will oversee the daily operations of high-quality care service delivery, ensuring that service users are supported to develop personalised care plans to meet their individual needs.
Responsibilities include managing a team of care co-ordinators, review and compliance officers and administrative assistants, ensuring service user assessments, co-ordinating services and audits are carried out and accurate records are maintained, providing support and guidance to the teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across the organisation. The Care Manager will ensure communication and collaboration between service users, families, and the wider care team. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and expertise in care for the elderly, dementia care and adults with learning disabilities, contributing positively to individuals’ quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and support the care co-ordinating teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional care services;
- Ensure the development, implementation and regular review of personalised care plans are tailored to individual needs;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry regulations, policies and procedures within the care environment;
- Provide leadership to the Office Managers and the care co-ordinating teams during staff meetings to promote effective communication;
- Support staff training and development programmes to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in adult care settings such as domiciliary home care services;
- Knowledge of Dementia and Alzheimer’s care principles and practices;
- Experience in developing and managing care services tailored to individual needs;
- Strong leadership and supervision skills with previous management or team-leading experience;
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and health and safety regulations;
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills;
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management are desirable;
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and foster positive relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
