Location: Deerpark (Liskeard, Cornwall)

Salary: £12.71–£13.95 per hour

Working Hours: Part-time, 18 hours (3 x 6-hour shifts Monday-Sunday)

About the Role

As a Cook in the Forest Retreat building, you will be the first point of contact for guests checking in. You will prepare and serve food in the on-site bar and restaurant, ensuring high quality, cleanliness, safety, and exceptional customer service. This position is open year-round and offers a balanced work‑life schedule with no late night openings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook all orders to a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Comply with health and safety, and food hygiene regulations, completing required paperwork.
  • Practice and promote safe food handling principles.
  • Follow the cleaning rota and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas, equipment and appliances.
