The predicted salary is between 16640 - 22500 £ per year.

As Facilities Assistant, you will ensure our cabins are in good working order, maintaining décor and performing general maintenance tasks with basic tools, machinery, and decorating skills. You will respond promptly to maintenance issues, communicate effectively with guests, and uphold our brand standards so that every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

As part of the Operations Team, you will also assist across the location when required, such as delivering items ordered from the Retreat to cabins or emptying bins on a changeover day.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work to keep cabins in good working order and well-presented.
  • Complete basic decorating and upkeep tasks to maintain high standards of cabin appearance.
  • Respond quickly to maintenance issues and resolve them where possible, using basic tools and repair skills.
  • Pay attention to the details and deliver daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Follow brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.
Ideal Candidate
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
  • Some previous experience in a similar role.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17

  • 16 years: £8.00 per hour
  • 17 years: £10.85 per hour
