About the Operations Assistant Role:

As our Operations Assistant , you’ll be at the heart of keeping our Forest location running smoothly behind the scenes. From maintaining our cabins to ensuring every facility is in top condition, your work plays a vital role in creating a seamless and enjoyable stay for every guest.

Set within a peaceful woodland environment, this role offers a refreshing alternative to typical maintenance positions. You’ll enjoy a balanced work schedule while working outdoors and as part of a supportive team, all while contributing to the unique Forest Holidays experience.

You’ll take a hands‑on approach to a variety of operational tasks, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and ready for guests to enjoy from the moment they arrive.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests.
  • Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating (basic knowledge desirable).
  • Paying attention to the little details and delivering daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
  • Taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can‑do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.
