Location: Garwnant (Brecon Beacons)

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours: Part-time, 12 hours per week

Days of Work: Monday and Friday only, 9.30am til 4pm

Transport: Please note that our location is not accessible by public transport. Therefore, a valid driving licence and access to a car, or another reliable means of transport, are essential for this role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our Garwnant team! Be part of creating special escapes in one of Wales’ most beautiful forest locations, surrounded by rushing rivers and 400 acres of Welsh woodland. Develop your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests, gaze up at exceptionally starry skies in this Dark Sky Reserve, and listen to the cheerful songs of willow warblers.

About the Housekeeper Role: Open all year round, our Housekeepers work in small teams, cleaning multiple cabins per shift. Passionate about the little details, you understand the importance of exceptional cleanliness; it’s what keeps our guests coming back time and time again.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing multiple cabins per shift to the highest standard.
  • Ensuring all cabins are spotless and welcoming for arriving guests.
  • Taking pride in your work and attention to detail at all times.
  • Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

Qualifications:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
  • Some previous experience in a similar role.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

  • 16 years: £8.00 per hour
  • 17 years: £10.85 per hour
