We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our lovely team at Blackwood Forest. Work in one of the UK’s most stunning forest locations, developing your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests.
About the Facilities Assistant role:
- Ensure our cabins are in good working order with well-maintained décor.
- Complete general maintenance tasks; a basic knowledge of using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating is desirable.
- Respond to issues promptly and maintain excellent communication with guests.
- Regularly audit every cabin to keep standards high.
- Assist across the location as required, for example delivering items ordered from the Retreat to cabins or emptying bins on changeover days.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to brand standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work to keep cabins in good working order and well-presented.
- Complete basic decorating and upkeep tasks to maintain high standards of cabin appearance.
- Respond quickly to maintenance issues and resolve them where possible, using basic tools and repair skills.
- Pay attention to details and deliver daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
- Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Follow brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.
