Forest Green Rovers are excited to be recruiting a Women’s First Team Head Coach, on a part time basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the strategic preparation of the Women’s First Team and the long-term development of players within Forest Green Rovers Female Programme.
The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Plan and conduct two technical and tactical training sessions, as well as any fixtures with the help of the First Team Manager and support coach.
- Devise game plans through analysis and on pitch delivery.
- Devise a plan to ensure all First Team Players continue to develop and grow their game.
- Create a positive culture based on daily behaviours and principles of play.
- Lead on team and squad selection for any First Team fixtures.
- Recruitment of new players through open sessions and utilising a network of contacts.
- Provide a pathway to give young players an opportunity at First Team level.
- Monitor young players in the ETC to highlight future players for the Women’s First Team.
- In conjunction with the Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensure all policies, practices and procedures relating to safeguarding of young people are implemented.

- Enhanced DBS clearance
- FA Safeguarding Certificate
