Forest Green Rovers academy are expanding their medical team and require several Physiotherapists or Sports therapists on a part time basis. With matches every Saturday and Sunday, plus regular mid-week fixtures, this is a great role for any progressive and proactive graduates looking to start in an elite football academy. The matches are at a variety of sites – Hartpury in Gloucester, Cirencester football club and away travel predominantly around the South-West.
Role requirements:
- Work regular weekend fixtures – providing pitch side medical cover and acute injury management.
- Liaise with Coaching staff/Sports science/Lead physio/club doctor regarding injuries, rehab and return to play.
- Assist coaches and sports science team on match days.
About You
Personal requirements:
- Degree in physiotherapy/sports therapy/sports rehabilitation.
- Experience in MSK assessments.
- HCPC/BASRat registration.
- Reliable.
- Strong time management skills.
- Team player.
- Proactive and strong work ethic.
Desirables:
- FA ITMMIF course or equivalent.
- Knowledge of adolescent injuries.
