About The Role
Salary: £27 per session (Session is 1.5 hours)
Forest Green Rovers are looking for Emerging Talent Centre Coaches to join on a casual contract.
In this role the coaches will be accountable for the welfare of children under their responsibility, in line with the club’s Safeguarding Children Policies. Coaches will be tasked with delivering sessions that focus on intensity, whilst improving the technical ability of the ETC’s players, and with helping to maintain our positive development environment.
The role is predominantly coaching on Thursday evenings, but we may also request your assistance on U15 or U16 matchdays which are typically Saturday mornings.
About You
The successful candidates will need to be able to deliver elite coaching sessions to ages 9-14 years old, in line with the pathway syllabus, as well as :
Essential
- Have knowledge of the elite female football landscape
- Minimum of a Level 2 football coaching badge
- Experience of working or volunteering within either school, club, or community sporting settings Ability to plan, deliver & evaluate coaching sessions
- Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced CRB Certificate or Current FA DBS Clearance FA Safeguarding & Emergency aid/ BFAS Qualifications
- Ability to work within a team effectively & efficiently and buy-in to the environmental ethos
- Be a committed, enthusiastic, and highly motivated, showing a passion for promoting participation and love for the sport
Desirable
- UEFA B license Level 2 or 3 Supporting PE and school sport (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in an elite talent pathway (Desirable)
- Mentoring other staff through coaching/teaching
