Forest Garden are the UKs leading and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products. We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, practically minded person with the ability to build various timber products in a customer facing environment.
Job Specification
- Build sheds & log cabins in various sizes at residential properties throughout Scotland & North England
- Build sheds, cabins, and some smaller items (arches etc) at garden centers, large retail stores throughout Scotland and North England
- Work with the team leader to ensure all products are built to a high standard, and limit failed installations by repairing damage, propping building if base unlevel
- Represent the Company by dealing with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Min 40 hours pw, Mon-Fri, 33 days holiday per year, including bank holidays and time off over Christmas during factory/office close down
- Work away from home required - accommodation provided
- On the job training provided. H&S training etc carried out at our sawmill based near Lockerbie
- All necessary tools, uniform, PPE, van, fuel card provided
- Potential to be trained on our other large items including greenhouses and gazebos
Person Specification
- Good level of competence to build various timber products
- Physically fit as the job is manually demanding
- A willingness to learn
- Full, clean driving licence
