Forest Care Selection is currently working in partnership with a national care provider, that supports adults with Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities and complex Physical Disabilities. They have a new job opportunity for a Lead Nurse to join their established good-rated service, based near Ashford in Kent. The role is for a minimum of 3 months, with a possible extension. This neuro rehab service provides specialist care to individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries and complex care needs. The Lead Nurse near Ashford, Kent will: * Work in partnership with the Service Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the highest quality of nursing care is delivered. * Lead in the clinical care of clients, specialising in tracheostomy. * Coordinate the structure of day-to-day nursing care. * Support nursing staff in collating information, analysis and action plans. * Work on the floor demonstrating clinical excellence to the nursing team. The Lead Nurse near Ashford, Kent will need to have: * Significant experience in leading nursing and care teams and being able to demonstrate a calm leadership approach. * They will also have experience working in a similar setting delivering nursing care. * Clinical governance and quality improvement skills. * Nursing qualification with an active PIN. * Current DBS with the update service (preferred) * Flexibility to work around the needs of the service. * Excellent understanding of delivering tracheostomies. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, mainly Monday-Friday and will receive a daily rate of up to £250. This is initially for 3 months but could be extended depending on the needs of the service.
