Forest Care Selection are currently working with a national children\’s charity who deliver a wide range of services to Children and Young People across the country.

This innovative organisation is seeking a Children\’s Home Manager to oversee their 3 bed specialist residential childcare setting in the Ilford area.

This is a unique opportunity to lead an established service for Children and Young People with a Learning Disability.

The Children\’s Home Manager in Ilford will :Oversee an established residential childcare setting and ensure its continued compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.Lead an established staff team to deliver high quality care and support to Children and Young People.Become the registered manager of the service under OFSTED.Develop positive working relationships with external stakeholders.

The Children\’s Home Manager in Ilford will need :Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or relevant qualification such as Social Work.Experience of leading in residential childcare settings ideally as the registered manager or at a deputy level with tenure.Knowledge of PBS strategies and behaviour that challenges.
