Applicants must have access to their own transport.
Main Duties
- Prepare and cook food hygienically
- Clean and wash kitchen utensils and equipment
- Be aware of residents’ dietary needs and respond to their requests
- Hold a suitable food and hygiene certificate – training can be provided
- Dispose of waste correctly
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained, especially for perishable goods
- Assist in serving food
- Perform other reasonable duties as required
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment
- High level of written and spoken English
This role is subject to a DBS check. While vaccination against Covid-19 is no longer mandatory, we encourage all staff to be fully vaccinated for health and safety reasons.
