What you’ll do…
You will be part of a team which provides an exceptional welcome to people visiting Wyre Forest. Whether through responding to enquiries with enthusiasm and expertise, greeting people and informing them of our amazing membership and volunteering offers, or building relationships with the business partners who help make the Wyre experience what it is, you will provide outstanding service. You will ensure our visitor facilities are clean, safe and accessible, respond to unexpected incidents, carry out visitor surveys and let people know about our offer and activities through social media.
Where you’ll work…
Forestry England is a world leader in sustainable forestry and is the largest provider of outdoor recreation opportunities in the country. This role is based at Wyre Forest, the largest woodland National Nature Reserve in England.
Alongside your salary, Forestry England contributes an average of 28.97% towards your pension. You will become a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension Scheme. You will receive 25 days holiday a year, raising by one day every year’s service, up to 30 days (pro-rated for part time employees) plus additional days off such as bank holidays.
