Wildlife Ranger – Salary: £34,793 per annum.

Location: western part of the forest district; candidate must live within reasonable travel time to Pry Rigg Larder, YO62 5EL.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the district’s wildlife management team, protecting forests and supporting conservation priorities, including mammal management.
- Champion the health and safety culture by demonstrating the value of 'look out and look after'.
Qualifications & Skills
- Successful completion of a DSC Level 1 firearms skill test.
- Pass a criminal record check and the government baseline personnel security standard check.
- Ability to communicate accurately in spoken English (meeting Immigration Act 2016 requirements).
