I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing UK housebuilder for a Maintenance Operative to join their Customer Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for carrying out remedial works on newly built homes across the Norfolk area, ensuring homeowners receive the highest standard of aftercare.
The Role
- Carrying out multi-trade repairs and maintenance to occupied new-build homes.
- Completing carpentry, basic plumbing, decorating, making good, and general maintenance works.
- Diagnosing defects and completing repairs to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on each job.
- Liaising directly with homeowners, arranging appointments and providing excellent customer service throughout.
- Working safely at all times in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Ordering materials as required whilst minimising waste.
- Supporting the wider Customer Care team to ensure customer satisfaction remains a top priority.
About You
- Experience in carpentry, general maintenance or a multi-trade environment.
- Basic plumbing and decorating skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
