A leading and long-established regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to strengthen its pre‑construction team. Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for new build construction projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Producing take‑offs and cost plans
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation
- Identifying risks and opportunities within tender returns
- Working closely with commercial and operational teams during the bid process
- Supporting the handover of successful tenders to delivery teams
Requirements:
- Experience working as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within a construction main contractor
- Strong experience pricing new build construction projects
- Good understanding of drawings, specifications and tender documentation
