Document Controller – The Company

Our client is a growing and well-funded construction business currently expanding its in-house contracting capability across the South of England. Backed by a substantial wider Healthcare development group, the business delivers high-specification construction projects with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and professional delivery standards. With multiple live and upcoming projects, the company is continuing to invest in building a strong operational and support team.

Document Controller – The Role

Based from the Swindon office with 1 day remote working available, the Document Controller will support project and operational teams by managing project documentation and ensuring information is controlled accurately across live construction projects. You will work closely with design, commercial, and site teams to ensure drawings, technical information, and project records are issued, tracked, and maintained correctly.

Typical duties & responsibilities:

  • Managing project documentation across multiple live projects
  • Uploading and distributing drawings and technical information
  • Maintaining document control systems and registers
  • Ensuring document revisions are tracked accurately
  • Supporting project teams with information management
  • Coordinating consultant and subcontractor document submissions
  • Managing project filing systems and records
  • Supporting compliance and QA documentation requirements
  • Assisting with project reporting and administration

Document Controller – The Person

  • Previous experience within document control or construction administration
  • Experience working within construction or main contracting environments preferred
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
