An excellent opportunity for an Estimator or Senior Estimator from a main contracting background to take ownership of tenders across fast-track refurbishment projects. You’ll be responsible for pricing works from first principles, managing subcontractor enquiries, analysing returns, and working closely with the wider pre-construction and delivery teams to secure work. Strong main contracting estimating experience is the key requirement.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing detailed cost plans and tender submissions
- Producing competitive, accurate estimates from drawings and specifications
- Managing subcontractor packages and tender returns
- Value engineering and cost optimisation
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Supporting bid strategy and handover into delivery
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator with a main contractor
- Background in refurbishment / interiors or fast-track projects
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working at pace without sacrificing accuracy
- Conquest experience beneficial but not essential
- £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
