Overview Title: Estimator – CarpentryLocation: Bristol (North East)Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 + car allowance + benefitsSector: Specialist Carpentry contractorStart Date: ASAPResponsibilities Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.Prepare detailed cost estimates by analysing labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.Responsable for take off\’s and measuringCollaborate with project managers and Directors to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimation process.Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather relevant data for accurate estimations.Maintain a database of past projects and their costs for reference in future estimates.Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to cost control measures.Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding estimates and any potential changes.Qualifications You will have solid experience working for a specialist contractorExperience pricing carpentry packages is essentialMust have experience taking off and measuringDesire to progress career as EstimatorCommutible daily to North East BristolBenefits £45-50k salary + £4k car allowance + benefitsCompany benefits packageVaried projects across sectorsContinued local work within the regionPlease contact Foresight Search for more information on this, or any other vacancy
