The Role
Working within a Digital Forensics Operational Support Team, this role uses advanced digital forensic techniques and the Child Abuse Image Database (CAID) to identify victims of child sexual abuse. The postholder acts as the force SPOC for CAID, coordinating referrals to the National Crime Agency and supporting Internet Child Exploitation teams.
Skills & Experience
Applicants must be willing to complete specialist training including CAID User Training, the College of Policing national IIOC categorisation course, the CAID National Adjudicators Course, and the NCA-CEOP Victim ID course. A Public Protection Learning Programme Level 1 qualification is also required within 12 months. Enhanced MV vetting clearance is mandatory.
