Our Digital and Data technology team are at the forefront of digital innovation. They provide best‑in‑class solutions for our clients, helping to shape and support a data‑driven future for UK government. You will join a team that delivers bespoke, secure software, programme and application support, and cloud migrations for government partners. Your work will support the platforms, products and services that keep our global operation secure.
When you join us as Senior Delivery Manager – Platforms, you will focus on the development and implementation of customer requirements with an emphasis on Compliance, Governance and Assurance. You will measure and maintain high quality platforms, products and services, manage and deliver services, tools, projects and portfolios that meet service level agreements, select appropriate methods and tools, and uphold effective project control, change control, risk management and testing processes. You will ensure that all products, tools and services are governed, measured and compliant with support and security.

Responsibilities
- Oversee a team, manage development, appraisals and ensure KPIs and SLAs are adhered to per contractual agreements.
- Schedule work packages as appropriate, optimise resource use, communicate project status and KPIs, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and signed off.
- Maintain professional development and knowledge of latest technologies and best practices.
- Deliver platforms, products and services that support security and compliance requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Security: All successful candidates must meet security requirements; Developed Vetting (DV) clearance may be required. See vetting information at fcdoservicescareers.co.uk/how-to-apply/ and the Vetting Charter.
- Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CISA are desirable to ensure security is at the forefront of compliance.
- Project and service management: Foundation/PRINCE2 or PMI Project Management Professional, with experience in Prince2, Agile and Digital Dev/Ops environments and methodologies; experience with service design across the full life cycle of delivery.
- Technical and delivery experience: Substantial experience in secure enterprise environments, SIAM/SMI models, IT systems and networks; broad technical understanding across technologies; procurement, commercial management and supplier management experience.
- Certifications: Azure or Microsoft cloud certifications; ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
- Experience working with central government departments is desirable.
- Personal capabilities: Ability to manage and deliver in complex environments, make effective decisions, and drive change and continuous improvement.
Benefits and Remuneration
- Salary: £48,801 plus employer contributions to Civil Service Pension scheme.
