Responsibilities:
- Support the design of some of the most important government buildings.
- Place and track orders for a range of fabrics, furniture and accessories for a variety of buildings.
- Ensure orders reach their destinations safely and on time.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and shippers to schedule deliveries and installations, often to overseas locations.
- Maintain delivery calendars.
- Track shipments.
- Produce status reports.
- Resolve logistical issues such as late deliveries and missing items.
- Respond to supplier queries.
- Ensure accurate order specifications and invoicing.
- Support the interior design team with sample management and other aspects of design room maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in procurement, order processing or project administration, preferably gained in an interior design environment.
- Familiarity with project management tracking tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office - including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
