Responsibilities
- Layout of RFICs including DRC, LVS, PEX, EM Extraction as well as design aspects including schematic capture and circuit simulations
- Ensuring the database is fully compliant with all requirements of tape-out flow including DRC and LVS checks and waiver process
- Managing version control of design files and documentation
- Detailed documentation for layout reviews
- Generate IP and support management team with patent applications and IP management
- Scripting for layout design automation using Skill
Requirements
Essential
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of analog layouts including DRC, LVS, PEX
- Strong knowledge in floor‑planning techniques, power mesh planning, low noise signal routing, IO pads, ESD/LU, electromigration, antenna, layout dependent effects and analog chip integration flow
- Knowledge of electronic devices/circuits like MOSFETs, resistors, capacitors, inductors, logic gates, op‑amps, etc
- Hands‑on experience in Cadence Virtuoso Layout XL and Calibre or equivalent
- Creative thinker with practical skills and experience
- Inspires confidence in colleagues, partners, and customers
- Comfortable in a fast paced, start‑up environment
- Pro‑active by nature, responsive to changing needs of the projects and business
- Good communication and presentation skills
- A mindset for precise and high‑quality results
- An eye for detail
Desirable
- Experience with RFICs preferred
- Experience in schematic capture and circuit simulation
- Hands‑on experience with EM tools like EMX, RFPro (ADS) or equivalent
