Mobile Role (Yeovil / Somerset)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs (8am–6pm)
Location: Yeovil & Somerset region (occasional UK travel)
Our client is expanding their mobile Occupational Health team and we are supporting them in recruiting motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Health Technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering high-quality health surveillance services across the Yeovil and Somerset area.
You will work on the road in a fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit/van, visiting a range of client sites and providing essential workplace health assessments. A comprehensive 3-week training and induction programme is provided, along with ongoing support and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting health surveillance including audiometry, lung function testing and baseline measurements
- Accurately recording clinical data and supporting the wider OH team
- Ensuring equipment and the Mobile Medical Unit remain clean, safe, and fully operational
- Supporting health promotion activities and assisting with wider Occupational Health tasks as required
We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and a proactive approach. Suitable backgrounds include:
- Healthcare Support Worker
- Emergency Care Assistant / Ambulance Technician
- Army Medic
- Sports Science graduate with experience in clinical measurements
- Full manual UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
- Must be 21+ (insurance requirement for vehicle use)
- Ability to provide a DVLA licence share code
Please note: During the initial weeks, travel may be required using your own vehicle or a hire car until the company van is allocated.
