Trainee Occupational Health Technician – Multiple UK Locations

Locations: Coventry | Birmingham | Bristol | Ipswich/Colchester | Southampton | Oxford | Northampton | Leeds (Please specify your preferred location in your application)

Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re hiring Trainee Occupational Health Technicians (OHTs) to join a nationally recognised team delivering vital health screening services to clients across a wide range of industries. Full training provided!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out basic health assessments such as blood pressure checks, audiometry, spirometry, vision tests, and drug & alcohol testing
  • Setting up mobile health units or clinics on client sites
  • Recording and managing health data accurately and confidentially
  • Travelling across your region (and occasionally nationally)
  • Representing the company professionally and providing excellent service to clients and employees

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for health and wellbeing – no clinical experience required (though healthcare, ex-military, sports science, or first aid backgrounds are a plus)
  • Comfortable travelling regularly and staying away from home (up to 4 nights per week)
  • Strong people skills – able to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Physically able to manage equipment and set up mobile units
  • Full UK driving licence required
