Occupational Health Technician Location: Derby (with occasional UK travel) Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 + Benefits Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8am–6pm) We are working with our client to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to join their expanding team. This role is primarily based in Derby, delivering high-quality health surveillance services, with minimal UK travel and only occasional overnight stays. You will receive a comprehensive three-week training and induction programme, supported by ongoing mentoring to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role. Key Responsibilities Carry out a range of health surveillance activities, including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and baseline health assessments. Accurately document results and support effective clinical decision-making. Maintain and calibrate equipment to required standards. Support wider occupational health and health promotion activities. Requirements Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Full manual UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle (minimum of 12 months experience driving experience essential, due to our clients insurance policy) Willingness to travel locally and occasionally nationally, with limited overnight stays. Benefits Mileage paid for all business travel using your own vehicle. Subsistence allowance for any overnight stays required. Premier Inn account for accommodation when applicable.
