In this role, you will predominantly be workshop-based, focusing on the service, repair, and refurbishment of wheelchairs in accordance with prescription builds.You will also undertake field-based work as required to support our clients directly on-site. Full training on all equipment and technical builds will be provided.\n \nKey Responsibilities\n \n Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose, service, and repair manual and powered wheelchairs. \n Prescription Builds: Assemble and refurbish equipment to meet unique user specifications and medical prescriptions. \n Field Support: Travel to field locations to provide on-site technical assistance and repairs. \n On-Call Cover: Participate in the emergency on-call rota. \n On-Call Requirements\n \n Frequency: 1 week in every 4. \n Hours: 08:00 to 23:00 during your rota week. \n Compensation: Generous standby allowance plus enhanced hourly rates for any live call-outs. \n What We Are Looking For\n \n Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory due to the on-call and field work. \n Technical Aptitude: Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus, though a strong willingness to learn is highly valued. \n Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
