In this role, you will predominantly be workshop-based, focusing on the service, repair, and refurbishment of wheelchairs in accordance with prescription builds.You will also undertake field-based work as required to support our clients directly on-site. Full training on all equipment and technical builds will be provided. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose, service, and repair manual and powered wheelchairs. Prescription Builds: Assemble and refurbish equipment to meet unique user specifications and medical prescriptions. Field Support: Travel to field locations to provide on-site technical assistance and repairs. On-Call Cover: Participate in the emergency on-call rota. On-Call Requirements Frequency: 1 week in every 4. Hours: 08:00 to 23:00 during your rota week. Compensation: Generous standby allowance plus enhanced hourly rates for any live call-outs. What We Are Looking For Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory due to the on-call and field work. Technical Aptitude: Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus, though a strong willingness to learn is highly valued.
