Temporary to Permanent job based in Harlow. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1645. Friday 0800-1400.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Oven Operator to load, monitor, and unload parts from industrial-grade ovens used in manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will ensure parts are processed according to specified temperature and time requirements while maintaining quality standards, productivity targets, and workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load parts, components, or assemblies into industrial ovens according to production schedules and work instructions.
  • Unload processed parts from ovens and transfer them to designated areas for cooling, inspection, or further processing.
  • Set up and operate industrial ovens using specified temperature, time, and process parameters.
  • Monitor oven cycles to ensure proper operation and adherence to production requirements.
  • Verify that parts are processed according to quality specifications and customer requirements.
  • Record production data, including batch information, cycle times, temperatures, and quantities processed.
  • Perform routine inspections of ovens and related equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or safety concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling hot materials, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
