Reporting to the Vice President and Chief of Staff, the Project Coordinator provides execution, production, and research support across the Office of the President, ensuring high-quality materials and preparation for presidential priorities and engagements. This is an on-site role at the Rose Hill (Bronx) campus. The position will require travel to our Lincoln Center (Manhattan) campus and may require nights and weekends as assigned by the VP/Chief of Staff.
Essential Functions
- Develop high-quality presentations for Board of Trustees, Cabinet, and external engagements.
- Conduct research to support presidential speeches and communications.
- Coordinate assembly of briefing packets for meetings and events with the Director of Presidential Operations.
- Build and assemble briefing documents, including gathering, synthesizing, and organizing inputs.
- Prepare background materials to support presidential engagements and decision-making.
- Support execution of special projects and initiatives through coordination, tracking, and material development.
- Maintain a centralized knowledge repository, including briefings, speeches, and Board materials.
- Ensure consistency, formatting, and quality of all documents produced by the Office of the President.
- Maintain tracking systems for follow-up actions and provide updates on status and progress.
- Utilize AI and generative tools to enhance the efficiency, quality, and speed of research, presentation development, and material production.
- Support overall coordination and execution of presidential priorities as assigned.
Management Responsibilities
Not responsible for supervision or oversight of others.
Additional Functions
In coordination with the Office of University Events, support major presidential events, including Commencement and Convocation, as assigned by the VP/Chief of Staff.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of project coordination or administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and presentation preparation skills.

- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills, extraordinary attention to detail, and the ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with professionalism in a fast-paced office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external constituent groups and to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Proven ability to build trust through commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) or similar suite.

- Higher education experience.
- Experience supporting executive offices.
Minimum and Maximum Starting Salary
Minimum Starting Salary: $70,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $85,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
